No effort can achieve its goals without the right guidance. Advisors help steer The Salam Award for Imaginative Fiction in the right direction by helping with the format, selection of judges, ideas on promoting the award and providing an over-all sanity check.

Dr Pervez Hoodbhoy: Dr Hoodbhoy is a renowned Pakistani nuclear physicist and a distinguished professor of physics with tenure at various Pakistani universities. He is also an activist and essayst who has publishes several books and articles about the state of education in Pakistan. A PhD from MIT, Dr Hoodbhoy has also authored a number of scientific research papers and has won awards for his contribution to various disciplines of mathematics and science as well as his efforts to promote science in Pakistan.
Salman Hameed: Salman Hameed is an associate professor of Integrated Science and Humaties at Hamshire College with a focus on understanding the relationship between science and religion from the perspective of Muslims. Salman teaches various courses covering biological evolution, creating science fiction short films an history and philosophy of science and religion.
