زینت حسام
زینت حسام مترجم کی حیثیت سے اپنی ایک پہچان رکھتی ہیں۔ انھوں نے گابریئل گارسیا مارکیز کے شہرت یافتہ ناول ’تنہائی کے سو سال‘، اتالو کالوینو کی منفرد تخلیق ’نادیدہ شہر‘ کے علاوہ یوسف ادریس، ابرہام یہوشوا، کیم مونزو، دانیال الارکون، اور ڈونلڈ بارتھیم کی کہانیوں کے تراجم کیے ہیں۔ حسام نے شمالی امریکہ کی بیس (۲۰) خواتین شعراء کی اٹھاسی (۸۸) نظموں کے انتخاب کا ترجمہ کیا ہے جو اس سال ’تمناؤں کے دیار سے‘ کے عنوان سے شائع ہوا ہے۔ اس سے پہلے انھوں نے بلگاریا کے شاعر لوبومیر لیوچیف کی نو نظموں کے تراجم کیے جو ایک جریدے میں شائع ہو چکے ہیں۔ امریکی شاعر لینگسٹن ہیوز کی نظموں کا ترجمہ بھی زینت کر چکی ہیں۔ ان دنوں ان کا اطالوی مصنفہ ایلینا فیرانتے کے ناول ’میری ذہین دوست‘ کا ترجمہ زیرِ طباعت ہے۔ زینت حسام نے ابتدائی سالوں میں بحیثیت صحافی کام کیا۔ وہ گذشتہ دس سالوں سے بطور آزاد محقق سماجی مسائل پر لکھ رہی ہیں۔ وہ کراچی میں مقیم ہیں۔
ڈاکٹر اُسامہ صدیق
ڈاکٹر اُسامہ صدیق ایک قانون دان اور ماہرِ پالیسی اُمور ہیں۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ وہ ایک ناول نویس بھی ہیں اور اُردو اور انگریزی میں ایک ایک ناول لکھ چکے ہیں — غروبِ شہر کا وقت اور Snuffing Out the Moon۔ عنقریب اُن کا تیسرا ناول Who Knows the Bounds of Desire منظرِ عام پہ آنے والا ہے۔

ناعمہ رشید ایک مصنفہ، شاعرہ اور مترجم ہیں جن کا ادبی کام چار زبانوں اُردُو، پنجابی، فرانسیسی اور انگریزی پر مشتمل ہے۔ ان کی تحریروں کو نیشنل پوئٹری کمپی ٹیشن (National Poetry Competition) اور بیسٹ اسمال فکشنز (Best Small Fictions) کے لیے نامزد (لانگ لسٹ) کیا جا چکاہے۔ ان کے شائع شدہ تراجم میں علی اکبر ناطق کا ناول "نولکھی کوٹھی" (پنگوئن انڈیا، ۲۰۲۳ء) اور پروین شاکر کا منتخب کلام "ڈیفائنس آف دی روز" (Defiance of the Rose) (آکسفورڈ یونی ورسٹی پریس، ۲۰۱۹ء) شامل ہیں۔ ناعمہ رشید ایک فرانسیسی کتاب "شیکین" (Chicanes) (لے فیوجیٹو Les Fugitives، ۲۰۲۳ء) پر بحیثیت شراکتی مترجم بھی کام کر چکی ہیں۔ اُن کا کام وائلڈ کورٹ (Wild Court)، پوئٹری برمنگھم (Poetry Birmingham)، دی اسکورز (The Scores) اور اے سمپٹوٹ (Asymptote) سمیت کئی معروف بین الاقوامی ادبی رسائل و جرائد میں شائع ہوچکا ہے۔ حالیہ طور پر وہ اپنے افسانوں کے مجموعے اور ناول پر کام کر رہی ہیں۔

Sam J. Miller
Sam J. Miller’s books have been called “must reads” and “bests of the year” by USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, and O: The Oprah Magazine, among others. They’ve also been banned in Florida, and stolen by AI belonging to billionaires.
His short fiction has been published in places like The Kenyon Review, Vogue Italia, Tor.com, Asimov’s, and more. He’s received the Nebula, Locus, and Shirley Jackson Awards. He’s also the last in a long line of butchers. Sam lives in New York City, and at samjmiller.com
Roshani Chokshi

Kristine Ong Muslim is an author, anthologist, and translator living in a small farmhouse in Sitio Magutay, a remote rural highland area in the southern Philippine province of Maguindanao. Her books include The Drone Outside (Eibonvale Press, 2017), Black Arcadia (University of the Philippines Press, 2017), Meditations of a Beast (Cornerstone Press, 2016), Butterfly Dream (Snuggly Books, 2016), Age of Blight (Unnamed Press, 2016), and several other collections of fiction and poetry.
